Sick leave

You may be given sick leave if you are unable to do your job because of depression. The numbers of days of leave entitlement will subject to the employment act or employment agreement you have between you and your employer.

Your employer will normally ask for a medical certificate if you have been off work. In the medical certificate, your doctor must confirm that you are ill.
